Default broken hose and dont know what it does

i have a broken hose under my hood and dont know what it controls and if its even worth fixing here are some pics if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it the hose is under the hood on the passenger side under the transmission fluid stick and kinda goes over the pcv valve

Looks like the vacuum line that ultimately feeds the HVAC controls and cruise control. What I'd do is get some small diameter vacuum hose and patch it. If that part is broken, I'd trace it around and make sure there aren't any other broken vacuum lines. Not only will that broken line hinder the function of the above mentioned accessories, the engine can suck in a little dirt/crud through there. Not a desirable thing.

Mine broke too. You can easily replace it by removing both halves from the plastic tee (left) and elbow (right), then use regular 1/8" (??) rubber vacuum line between the two fittings.

yup, thats a vacuum line and pretty easy & inexpensive to fix.
