Default Mopar plug wires

Are the plug wires date coded? Mine have 1-06 on them and wondering if I am wasting $$$ if they arent old

i don't know if that's a date code or not. but even if it is, and assuming the wires have been in a box and not out in the sun - and they feel nice and soft, then they're fine. i wouldn't worry about it.

the things that kill plug wires is time and heat. they get stiff, dry rot, insulation breaks down, etc.
