hey guys, i got a friend that has some 36 inch Military Goodyear Wrangler RT tires and hes gonna give me a really good price on them if i buy them by sunday, my question is, would it be safe putting thm on my 2500 ram with NO LIFT, im getting a leveling kit really soon, is it a good idea or should i pass em up? also, would these be good street tires in this michigan weather?

 

I have rub problems with 35's on my 1500 with a lift. I dont know how much taller the 2500 stock hieght is compared to mine though.

The rub is only when I turn, mainly be cause of the width of the tires, 12.5.

 

i have heard that 2500 stock can fit 35 fine but get a leveling kit on it just in case or 3500 spring???

 

they will fit fine in the rear... but will rub in the front when turning lock to lock most likely

 

they will fit with a levelling kit. The front will rub on the control arms when turning sharp if using stock offset wheels. They may also take out your plastic vailance under your front bumper, i took mine off before the tires so i dont know. check out my sig, BDS levelling kit and 35" toyos, i love them.
