Cool o2 Help

Hey I got a new CEL on so I went and checked the code. It stated Bank 1 Sensor 2 High Voltage. If anyone knows exactly what causes a High Voltage reading let me know. Also is this the PreCat o2 or the After cat o2?

It's the post cat O2, You need to have the cat checked. That sensor just tells the PCM whether or not the cat is doing it's job. So either the cat is bad or the sensor is.You can start by just replacing the O2 (change them both if they never have been) but I wouldn't leave it at that, even if it corrects the light issue.

You'll want to check the lower intake gasket too. Because if the cat is bad, the gasket is usually the culprit.http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2000/09-05-00.htm

Cool o2 woes

hey ZMAN thanks for your input. I was trying to wait till spring to just do away with the cat, install some non-foulers on the o2 sensors to trick the computer and put on a decent single exhaust muffler emptying behind the passenger tire with some nice tips but now.......
