Default Lucas Oil Trans Additive

Does anyone have any experience with the Lucas Oil Stop Slip additive.
I am wondering if it will have an affect on the trans slip/surge in my 98 Ram. I have been told to stay away from additives in general by a trans Mech, but my father in-law had a great experience with the Lucas product in his Ford car.

I have replaced the throttle pos sensor with no change. I have been told that the "surge" (more of a slip to me. RPM goes up 100-200 then back with mod load such as up hills)is common and has something to do with the locking torque converter.

More than likely the TC and or tranny is toast, and no additive is going to help.

DO NOT ADD LUCAS ANYTHING TO YOUR TRANSMISSION.

The ONLY additive you want to try is SMART BLEND by Life Automotive.

+1 on the SmartBlend... Added to a 95 ford E350 and a 96 Ram 1500 both showed improvement in shifting and the boost has not changed in over a month...
