Will the 14X5 not fit, or do these trucks lose performance?? Im just wondering because I am in the market for one and am not sure whether I would just be stupid in getting a 14X5 instead of the 14X3. And where is a good place to order one online???

If you have a body lift, you might be able to fit it, but I think that would be overkill.
One guy on here once tested different filter sizes on his K&N FIPK. He reported good top end and pulling power with the bigger filter, but lost some low end.

You will lose low end power with the 14x3 setup.

Hey 98cherryram I say go 14X3!! I did on my 01 360 and I love the sound and the extra little omph it has. Sounds great and gave me better throttle response. Some as Viper37 claim you lose low end but I did not feel it if it did occur. I guess it is just like removing a catalytic converter some say you lose low end others say they gained! Try it anyway only set you back a few dollars and a little time making your S-Bolt, not hard. Oh and buy the way a 14X5 definately wont fit, I got about a 1/2 inch space before it hits the underneath of the window cowl.

the first link (the 1480) comes with the nipple so u dont need a breather. You just route your hose form the old intake and connect it to the nipple on the base of the air cleaner and ur good to go. Thats what I did on mine.

don't buy a breather from summit, it'll cost you shipping and dang near a $10 "handling" charge. just go to NAPA, Advance, O'Reilly, Shucks, Autozone, Pepboys or whatever other Parts Stores they have in your area.
