sorry guys im only 16 y.o. but it ran out of fluid and started slipping to where my truck wouldnt move when i gave it gas. i towed it home put some more transmission fluid in it and it still wouldnt move. so i just figured it was my transmission.

Sounds like the pump is shot.

Like dh said, listen to MonteC, he knows his stuff. He helped me diagnose my problems and hopefully (find out tommorow) get me back on the road. If you decide to do it yourself, make sure to follow any instructions to a T. AND make sure you put the seals on the back of the pump (thanks dad) otherwise you will be pulling the trans again to take it back apart.
