help with 1997 dodge 2500 360

Default help with 1997 dodge 2500 360

cranks up and drives down the highway just fine but when you slow down it will just shut off i changed out the fuel pump figured that was the problem but is still doing it please help if you have any information

does it crank right back up ?
does it stay running if you leave a little pressure on the gas pedal to hold the rpm's at around 1000 or so ?

so does it seem like it just can't go from cruising rpm to idle w/o dieing ?

if its an idle problem, replace IAC and if that doesn't fix it replace TPS (and save the old IAC as a spare).
