Default DTC 45 Governor pressure sensor??

Hey all
I was driving my truck today when my CEL lit up and i felt my truck getting sluggish off the line. so i went to check if it was even downshifting to first gear and sure enough it wasnt. No matter what i did it would not shift to first. i came home and my scan tool on it and it came up with the code 45 saying that my governor pressure sensor is low. Any ideas to what it would be. First i though fluid so i made sure it was full so now im looking for any ideas before i blow money at the trans shop. thanks in advance

Replace your governor pressure solenoid and sensor.

this happens SOOOO MUCH. i swear, next time i go to the parts counter im gonna get 2 of each, a few quarts of ATF and the tools to do it and put it in my glove box. This is a reocorring problem, I will be replacing my 2nd governor sensor/solenoid in three years.
the plus is that its an easy fix, just a little messy sometimes. we should have an acronym for this part like GPS/S or something like that, lol im gonna get carpo from typing it so much.
