I hear ya man, Mine is a 68 fastback with a 302 bored 60 over , 351w heads port and polished, 11.5:1 pistons, 850 holley dbl pump sitting on an Edelbrock streetmaster intake,full race TRW cam and solid lifters,all ACCELL ignition ,dual point dist,super coil, etc... (ALL OLD SCHOOL AND I LOVE IT) shortened Lincoln axle w/4.56's (out of a mustang that ran at Islip Speedway on L.I, where I'm from originally), Custom B&M rebuilt C4 tranny gets her where she wants to go. Took out the 3500 stall TC when I got older though! LOL Except for the tranny,I did all the work, as my Father used to own an auto parts store and a complete machine shop on L.I. Best time of my life.

I'd be itchin to install that monster! I've read nothing but good stuff about this trac bar. When I rebuild my front end, thuren will be on the list

I just replaced it last spring with a MOOG , so I'll wait till it goes bad then do the Thuren.

Damn, sounds awesome. Maybe I can cruise up and see it this summer?

Its the 5th link in our 5 link coil suspension (front). It holds the axle from shifting side to side while allowing articulation.

so why dont you do all of the front end over? i know it must be a good part how buys crap. how much more would it been and what did that cost?

Thuren bar is definately built, there is no question in that. I did manage to get my hands on one, and sold it at a loss because I was going though a phase where I was questioning what I wanted to do with the truck. I taped off ball bearing, and the other end just the bushing parts. I started with some self etching primer and then painted with some black rust tough semi-gloss. That bar turned out beautiful because I am a perfectionist. The thuren bar is truely a master piece in itself and had I of thought about it sooner, I probably would have just clearcoated it Congrats on the trackbar.
