Exclamation Anyone with Unique Brand Rims?

I am looking to changing my rims from stock to something...black BUT I can't see spending flipping $200 per rim. I am not into bling bling. Just want something sturdy and looks good.

Came across a rim that was steel and cheap...but wanted anyone input on the brand or look or whatever. The brand is Unique (wow original!) Comments?

Wheel is the black one on top here: http://www.uniquewheel.com/catalog_pg2.html

Pic of the one I want on a jeep: http://www.uniquewheel.com/images/photogallery/023.jpg

Rather go with the cragar center caps. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

240 / set isn't bad I guess. I was just looking at the soft 8's just the other day actually.

Is this a joke posting? Those rims are the same ones! Just branded differently! Look at image below:

They aren't branded differently. The Unique web site says they are cragar wheels, that company just sells them. They just took a picture with their own custom center caps.

That said, i've used cragars on both my ram and my old Jeeps, and they are a good cheapie steel wheel. In fact, my set of 35's are mounted on those exact wheels you were looking at.

Well sounds like I might get them then cause I just want something simple that looks good and is black! Sell off my stock rims or just store them,

I looked at those same wheels...they sell them here at Discount Tire. I had a buddy in Utah that had Unique rims on his 2500 CTD and they held up very well. I would say they are good wheels...especially for the price. Wonder what the weight difference is between those and stockers?

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...*5-5%2F5.5&rw=

$58 discount tires...I know I could go in there (in stock) and say ok I bought my tires from you...put these new rims on for $250 total and they probably do it and I could get my tires siped.

Question is...16x7 OR 16x8...16x7 have a 4" backspacing and 16x8 are at 5"

http://www.uniquewheel.com/scripts/s...ies=Series_297

I think our stock is 5.5" backspacing...so stick out 1/2" or go for the extreme at 1.5" makes me nervous people on this thread warning me of that much difference on the wear and tear on the truck.

The farther out you go more stress is put on the BJ's and hub bearings! Just something to think about.
