It looks like those are direct bolt on.

I'm so glad I escaped that rat hole state.

Great info.... Thanks a lot. I am going to call them in the morning and order up some new converters. I rode my motorcycle for about 10 years without a car/truck. My wife conviced me to get a 4 wheeled vehicle and I got this truck used. I don't have any good resources for my truck, untill now that is. Thanks again!!!

don't assume that a california shop will install these. there may be finer points of the law that require them to come from the dealer, even though these say they are carb compliant.

they claim to be direct bolt on, not cutting, bending, or welding. you may have to put them on yourself. check with your shop before you spend $600.

Buy the cats you want and take them to a weld/machine shop and have them put them on, just make shure they are OBD whatever legal.

yup, yup. I will ask some questions when I order. They also state on the website that they are for ca. emissions and they are in san diego. Hopefully that means they are at least attempting to sell ca. legal parts.
