hooking up speaker amp?
I won this amp last night so I can run it to my speakers I just put in my truck. Right now in my truck I got two Rockford Fosgate 10's running off a crappy Sony 1000 watt amp and I also have a Sony head unit. The head unit has one set of rca outputs so I know I'll need two splitters along with a distribution block, other than that I'm not sure what else I need other than wire?
I'm not exactly sure how to run the speakers though the amp though. I've done all the "system work" in my truck so far so I kinda know what I'm doing
. The part I just don't know about his how exactly you run the speakers though the amp.

What amp did you win? You hook it up just like you have the amp for your sub connected. head unit to amp, amp output to speakers.
besides power & ground you also need to run a remote turn on wire to the amp from the head unit.
Check out www.the12volt.com. they have great write up's on audio.

well you will need speaker wire for the speakers obviously.
I know some people that have just ran speaker wire into the dash from the amp and spliced those wires into the stock speaker wires. I don't recommend that because of the extra load you are going to be pushing through it. I just ran new wires all throughout to my speakers. it was a PIA but it was well worth it.
BTW FYI unless you are just going to hook up the front speakers, you will need to hook up both the front and rear speakers to each side of the amp, since the amp you bought is a two channel.
No more than you are going to be drawing and pushing I wouldn't worry about it though.
Good luck

+1 for running all new speaker wire. makes troubleshooting much better too.
when you wire it up both front speakers will go to one channel and both rear's would go to the other. Idealy you would want a 4 channel amp, but you only bought a 2 channel so it's more then good enough to do this.
Make sure though that the speakers your going to put in are rated higher then 50w 4ohm RMS.
