Mouse in radiator
I have a 99 Dodge Ram 2500 with a constant mouse squeek coming from the front center area of the engine that is hard to detect where it is coming from exactly. I can hear it reverberating off the radiator infront of the fan, and everytime I think I narrow it down, I change locations and so does the sound. I am thinking that the bearings for the fan need greasing? Any ideas or suggestions? I just changed the idler pully and belt tensioner. Belt is new as well. And it isnt the power steering, alternator, A/C, pulleys.
Try D-con.
J/K. Hit each pulley nut with a shot of WD-40 and wait a few seconds for it to penetrate. If the squeak stops, you found the culprit. Don't move to the next pulley too fast or you'll be chasing gremlins forever.

do you only hear the noise when moving ? sort of like eek eek eek eek.
grease the ends of the auto trans linkage, where the up/down rod meets the front/rear rod, there are (worn out) nylon bushings on the end of the shaft. grease em heavily.

If you can grab a fan blade and wiggle it back and forth, be sure to change that fan clutch out immediately. When mine went out, it took the water pump and belt with it. later found out the fan clutch was so loose it shook
