Default Tranny??

Ok, last year around the end of june i had my transmission serviced, just new oil and filter. They gave me an extra quart that they didn't use and i threw it in my toolbox and thought nothing of it. Yesterday I was cleaning out the toolbox and started reading the quart of tranny oil i had just found. That particular fluid was supposed to be used for late model fords and chevy's. They put the wrong ****in fluid in my tranny. What should I do?? Do i get it serviced again usin atf+4 or do i leave it alone since i havent had problems with it?

I've heard that most of those quick change trans service places just use Mercon III and have an "additive" to simulate ATF +4. However, it is not the real thing. The ATF+4 is designed to help keep the electrical components from becoming brittle and breaking. I would get that fluid out of there ASAP.
