Default dodge 2500 front springs

I have a 6" lift on my 2000 dodge 2500 extended cab diesel. I have someone that wants to swap their stock parts out of a 98 2500 extended cab with a v 10 with my lifted parts. Are the stock front springs rated the same since one is gas and one is a diesel ?

Yep, I have always read that diesel and V10 coils are the same. The V8 3/4 ton coils are what is different (less spring rate).

Call the company that made the lift, they will be able to confirm. I bet the diesel and the V10 coils have the same part number.
