Unhappy Muffler Swap was a good idea

yesterday i got bored so i swapped my muffler out for a 3"in/3"out straight through and im very pleased with the results.... faster throttle response, better acceleration, the works. But i have a leak only a small one, and none of the shops around here will weald it or me and i cant weald, so could i get like some JB Weald and patch it.... not sure if it would hold.
So what do guys think would it be good enough to hold.

put a clamp on it... get some jb weld or muffler repair kit and a pipe clamp... put the jb weld/repair kit on the muffler.. then clamp it all down

DO NOT JB WELD IT! I decided to try jb weld on my dakotas exhaust and it didn't work at all. Once the exhaust heated up the jb weld just cracked and fell off. Then when I took it in to get welded I was told by 3 different shops that they couldn't weld it cause there was too much crap on it. It ended up costing me a lot more because I tried to jb weld it. Don't do it!

yeah i did with the payment.... but a new problem has arrisen, i cut the old muffler off at the stock connection... im going to run he exhaust pipe out before the tire right now its kind of exitting on the tire, there is also a drone when driving due to it exiting under the bed. and another quick question could putting a 3in muffler where the old muffler connected cause it to run richer than normal.... and once im done ill definately be posting a video for all of you y the way its a turbo diesel muffler.
