Question Transmission problems

OK my last request of the day....

This is not a everyday occurance, but it usually happens in the AM when everything is still cold. I will start the truck - every thing up and running. Once I put it in drive it takes off as usual. I pull up to a light or stop and when I go to start off again there is nothing there... like it is in neutral. Rev the engine for a second or two and you feel it kick in and take off. Only happens that one time that day and again, it is not an everyday occurance.

Wha ya think?

Michael

Sounds like the torque converter, but I am by no means an expert on transmissions.

Have you checked the fluid level? I would start there and keep my fingers crossed that the cause is low level. Other than that, someone who knows more should be of more help.
