From the Hughes Engines website:
"JAN 12-2009 Update
We have been working with Edelbrock to make a special AirGap intake manifold (in this particular application) for us. They should be available around Feb-09. They will have cast-in injector bosses that are designed to our specs. The sensor locations will be re-located as on our modified intakes. Un-needed bosses will be eliminated and it will be cast with the Hughes Logo. They are cool and should help get the cost down!"

Nice! I just looked up some spec's for an airgap (not this specific one) and puts ranges from 1500 - 6500. Sounds like the new solution to the plenum issue and without the low end loss of the M1. Please tell me these are for efi.
The airgap seems to be a better solution then the M1 from what I have read too. But, it seems like it still benefits from a performance cam.
Legend
I'm currently running the older version and if I ever get my truck up and running correctly, I can tell you all about it. Currently I've only been able to flirt with it a bit,.
I'll even run the stock tune for a while and the 87 tune on the SCT to givfe you guys a bit of a preview.

Sweet maybe this will be an option for me. Modding my kegger is not going as planed. What I did looks like crap so far and I'm lazy so I haven't been working on it.
Record Breaker
That's the best news I've heard in forever. So I take it this one is supposed to be better as far as tq loss than the others out there? I sure hope so...
