Question truck died in the middle of the road

So I was driving my truck to get some food and I pulled into the parking lot and next thing I know I went to release my clutch and the truck just wouldnt pick up in rpms and started shaking and just died right there where I was... So I tried to start it, and no way would it start, I tried taking off the intake and all kinds of things until I finally decided to disconnect the computer and then tried to start it and it started, still ran funny but gave me just enough juice to get home, It feels like I fuel problem, I cant be sure though since I have never personally had a fuel pump or injectors or anything go bad on me before. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them

The truck wasnt running like it was low on oil or like the engine was blowing up, and no, I hooked the pcm back up and it ran, it was almost like by disconnecting the pcm it gave it a little extra push, but just enough to get home...

Did you check your battery? From what I recall... when my battery died it was a PITA to jump start. I could get it started... but the second the cables came off the truck died...
