Thought I'd post up some pictures of the Ram
come on i took my 1500 with high way tires through a hole so deep i went to get out and my truck was lower than the ground next to me i had to step up to get out! than i got it stuck dam transfer case skid plate had to put it in low tryed nothing just spun. than packed all four and spun and spun than it came out after a while. i had mud splash up on the hood on my truck! that was a fun day and night try it at night with just yr stock head lights no fogs what a scary ride when they got covered with mud!!!!
Ha, knew it had to be a lift when I saw the red sticking out of the suspension. How did it maintain the raked look? I have some skyjacker 3" springs sitting around waiting to go in but I haven't got the AAL yet. What came in your kit and do you think the replacement lower arms are worth getting also? Reason for the questions is that I want my truck to look exactly like yours.
Anyway, the kit has a AAL in the rear, different coil springs in the front, bump stops, and the lower control arms were changed up front. That basically seems to be what the kit consists of. Oh yeah, and longer shocks. I've had to since change those. If you get Skyjacker shocks I recommend painting them before you put them on. I was told this but didn't listen even though my old ones were rusted. Anyway after a year or so expect them to look horrible with surface rust all over them. I ended up taking mine off and sanding them all down to bare metal and painting them with a silver that sparkles. They look absolutely amazing. And here 10 months or so later still look good as long as you clean the dirt and dust off of them.
We have a couple of other vehicles so if it's broken I have something else to drive but it's the cost of having to fix it that gets me. I have dirtbikes if I want to offroad. I have a 4 wheeler too but it currently sits with a blown motor so it doesn't do too much good.
