Hey guys, I just came into $200-$300. I am looking to mod my 01 5.2L Ram, but dont know what to get. I already have a drop in K&N filter, and single in dual out Flowmaster. I am looking for a mod/s that will give it a SIGNIFICANT power gain. The only thing I can think of would be a comp. Any other suggestions? Someone at a parts store that I frequent suggested a cam. How much of a power gain will I be looking at, and will it give it that choppy muscle car sound? Any serious suggestions are appreciated.

Also, I bought the truck about a month and a half ago, and I just tried the air conditioner, it blew kinda cold for 20-30 seconds, but then started blowing hot air like the heater was on. All of the dials were set to blow max a/c, but it blew extremely hot air, then after about 15 seconds it cooled down, and got into a pattern of cool (not old) then hot over and over. I work at an oil change shop, so I will get my freon checked. Could that be it, or is something seriously wrong? Thanks for the help.

might want to think about getting some headers for the truck but if you do get the ceramic coated ones. it will give you about 15-20 hp. also the cam you talked about will give you horsepower but to really make it come alive you would need to do some head work as well. but just putting in a cam will give you that lope that you want depending on lift and duration. hoped this helped
