Custom exhaust

I have a 97 1500 4x4 w/ 5.9L powerplant. I have stock exhaust on the truck currently. Want to go to custom exhaust that'll reduce back pressure. Would like to put dual exhaust on it. Anyone been down this road? What have you done and what kind of exhaust have you used?
