Question How Much Lift Does My 4x4 Have?

I purchased my truck used and already lifted (97 Ram 2500 with v-10)...I've been able to equip it with 37x12.5x16.5 Humvee tires only with a touch of inner plastic fender hit...it's obviously got a lift kit in it over factory suspension...how do I identify the lift parts and get a measurement of lift inches over factory height....sounds goofy but when ordering shocks, you have to tell the shop how much lift you have...thanks for any input or advice!!! garkeller@aol.com.

One way to find out about the shocks would be take one front and one rear one off and measure the length collapsed and fully extended. Lots of work, but a sure way of finding out what you need.

look on the shock and see if there are any #s on them.. take a measurement from the ground to bottom of bumper and give us the height.. with 37s with a slight rub i say you have a 5" lift .. i see no pics....
