yea its supposed to be one of the loudest i am not up to date on the high flow cats but i don't see how it could be louder than a gutted cat. it may be but doesnt sound pracical. it loud when you rev it up but under hard acceleration its not as loud but i still like it.

 

the extreme is a single chamber muffler also

 

just slap a resonated tip on straight pipes and call it a day.

 

I know and while I'm not sure it will be much if any quieter I don't see how it could be any louder either. Just pointed that out since you were saying try that if you wanted louder. Or at least that's how I understood it.

the flowmaster 1 chamber and the extreem 1 chamber is the same exact thing just one is stamped Flowmaster. but they sound the exact same. neighbors dont mind like i said i had a Z71 with straights and converters and it was twice as loud and i crank it up at 5:20 every morning to let it warm up when its cold out.

 

i like it sounds good
