Vibration in the Right front.
Hello, new to the forum.
I recently picked up a 99 4x4 Ram V8 magnum Club Cab Auto. It has about 145,000 miles on it. I am occasionally hearing a vibration from the right front and wondered if any could help me diagnose what might be causing it. Here is what I have been able to determine so far.
The noise seems to be on the right front side.
Happens in 2h or 4h.
Happens with or without cruise control.
Only seems to occur above 50MPH.
Only seems to happen when my foot is on the throttle.
Does not happen all the time.
Stops when I take my foot off the throttle.
Happens in cold and warm weather.

could be tire needing balance or replacement. rotate fronts to rear to check.
could be wheel bearings, axle u-joints.
could be worn out front end parts - ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.
jack up front and rotate tires. should be smooth and quiet
grab tire at 12 and 6 oclock and wiggle. should be no movement.
try to wiggle the axle u-joint, should be no movement.
if its not obvious, take it to a tire/front end shop for a free estimate. then you can decide if you want to tackle it yourself or not.
