question about tranny???

i have a 96 dodge with a 47re and the tranny is shelled and i got a spare tranny out of a 95 dodge that is a 46 re and the plug going in to the valve body is diff the one on the 47 is a 6 pin round plug and the one in the 46 is a 3 pin plug that is rectangular i was wondering if i can just change the valvebodys or what else i can do to make it work

i don't know because the 95 is a 46rh not re...

No they will not interchange. You bought a 46rh governor controlled unit.
