Should I buy a 95 2500 V10 Pickup ???
I am considering buying this truck, but before I do I just thought I would ask the gang here "what do you think"
It appears to be in good shape with the only visible rust on the passenger door and the rear bumper.
It has 140,000 miles with unknown history of repairs.
Does anyone know what kind or repairs or service it may need in the future, I know no one has a crystal ball but maybe someone knows of typical problems these trucks or V10's have?
I currently have two other Dodge cars (05 R/T and 04 Grand Caravan) and am happy with them.
Thanks, Jack

I have had very few problems with my 99 V10. I think the earlier V10s need 2 plug wires re-routed because it could cause a missfire. I've done a throttle position sensor, rear diff sensor, AC compressor, track bar, and brakes. I have a little over 100k on mine. I've been really happy with mine and I'm a little sad that I had to trade it for a larger truck.
about 8-10 mpg.
you don't say how much this truck costs.
my opinion is that if it cranks and runs and there is nothing AT ALL fishy with the transmission, and its 4wd, and priced less that $2000, then its probably fine.
the worst thing in the world that can happen would be for the transmission to fail right after you buy it, because that will sideline you for about another $2000. test drive the **** out of it. if the transmission acts up in ANY way, then don't pay a lot of money for it, and keep some in reserve for unexpected repairs.
