From my understanding... nothing really. lol If you just change out the Ignition Coil you might see a smother idle, but performance wise, prolly nothing. If you get a entire new MSD ignition, well you will be getting the great Multi-Spark. Two sparks which will burn fuel more effecent, so they say. Some people say you might get better MPG, but I can't tell you that for sure as I have not done it myself yet. But when it comes down to it, if you like installing things on your truck, do it weather or not it does any thing. Working on our trucks is fun and gives you a little pride when every thing is together and it works correctly. ^_^

Ya,

I figured it that was about it. If your not running a hotter spark for racing.. whats the point.

I like the multi spark thing.. sounds interesting.

Thanks for the reply

I put a MSD 6A, coil, wires, and heat shields on. Better idle, havn't noticed any MPG gains but all the red looks cool under the hood! The 6A does have a rep for burning through plugs. You need to run copper plugs only, none of that fancy s**t. I'm runnin Autolites after I toasted the E3's.
