Hi All
i am new to the dodge family and i just purchased a 94 ram 1500 4wd yesterday. My question is that when i press on the throttle a yellow triangular light comes on in the lower right dash under the guages. Does anybody know what this light means? Any help is appreciated

I am going to assume that the fact that that light comes on, means you have a manual transmission. Those are supposed to be a shift light, made to help you improve your shift points and fuel mileage.

 

oh well that makes sense, thanks alot i guess ill start shifting sooner :P silly thing doesnt have a tach on it..

 

yea I thought it was kinda neat when I saw that, but I didnt even stop to think about em not having a tach.

 

definately a shift light, I shift when the motor is ready, not when the truck tells me to. Lugs through the gears otherwise
