I got off the phone with PATC yesterday and he seemed confident that he would have
my tranny done by friday and at the latest monday. That seems incredibly quick to me,
I'm very surprised he can have it built that soon.

Well the transmission showed up last thursday. I can't believe it was built, shipped, and at
my mechanics shop in a week. I know that this has no bearing on whether it will be a
good transmission but it did come packed very nicely in a full wooden crate. I've heard
a few people complain about shipping problems from other companies so I thought I
would share that. Trans cooler looks real good; six pass flex-a-lite with fan and thermal
sensor. She's going under the knife tomorrow and provided no other unforseen problems
I should get it back at the end of the day tomorrow or wednesday morning.
Feeling excited about this, can't wait to get it back.

Just got my truck back, transmission feels pretty good. I can't really test it out that well
because I'm still not getting enough fuel Ironically the engine doesn't ping anywhere
near as easy as it did with the old trans. Truck is a damn dog, I'm still tracking down dyno
tuning facilities to get this thing running hard.

Glad to here it is shifting again. I ended up getting mine rebuilt locally, and it should be ready tomorrow.

Yeah its pretty sweet, truck runs 1,000 rpms less at givin speeds than it did with the old
trans. Nice positive shifts too, really can't wait to see what this thing can do.
