I had my truck built with LSD. How do I engage it? I have read to put the parking brake on slightly. Is that true?

 

it should engage automatically to send the power to the wheel with the most traction, as opposed to an open diff that will send the power to the wheel with the least traction. you can "help" it by just riding the brake pedal a little, which is sort of like engaging the parking brake. i'd just ride the brake pedal with my left foot, otherwise, i'd forget to disengage the parking brake. riding the brake can help an open diff also.
