Any ideas?
Hey all! I have a 97 Ram 2 wheel drive with 3.9 liter V-6. I bought it used less then 3 years ago. The truck needed a complete brake job so I replaced everything on the front rotors ,calipers and pads. Well I had a brake line rupture and put it in the garage upon inspecting everything it seems the front brakes are wearing much faster then the rear brakes. Is there a way to increase the rear brake pressure so it wears more evenly.
Also the high idle has never worked from the day I baught it,on a cold winter morning it starts and revs up and down but usually just maintains regular idle . I have looked at the part store and noticed they have several sensors ,however Im not sure what is the sure fire fix for the idle and realy dont have the cash to trial and error this problem,if there is one. I was thinking throttle control unit somebody else was thinking mass air flow or map sensor, and they also have a throttle position sensor.
ANY INPUT WOULD BE HELPFUL. LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK.

You need to tighten up the rear brakes every so often, the self adjusters do not work all that good. And as far as the idle goes, take the IAC off the throttle body and clean it and the bore in which it goes into on the TB.
not sure what IAC stands for ,Is it the one on the front or side of the TB? Thanks for your input!
Never mind ,I understand IAC= throttlle control unit
