Default 99 dodge more power and truck help

i have a 99 dodge ram 1500 sport with a 5.5" fabtech lift and 35x12.50 mud country tires on it. i have the 5.2L or 318. after puttin on all that my truck very slow. im tired of it bein so slow u cant even tell when i put the peddle to the floor. i want more power so i need suggestions. i dont care about mpg or any of that stuff. i am thinking about gettin new gear ratio like the 4.56 or 5.13 what would be best

4.56 is good for your tires the 318 couldn't be that bad.. my truck feels like a race car.. im sure its just your gearing. perhaps there is a problem.. hard to say

You can drop one of these guys down in there. If you have about 16,000 laying around.

power = 408ci. with 4.56s your 60mph RPM in O/D is about 2050RPM. With 5.13s your lookin at 2310RPM. your call

I have 35's on my 97 ram 2500 and its a 360 and I think it has no problem with power. just today I hauled a whole tree out of brush with no problem.

there is a big defferance in torque between a 318 and 360, and your 2500 probobly has better gears than 3.55s
