Replace your governor pressure sensor and solenoid.

also make sure your check valve is not getting cloged or blocked . clean , replace or dont use it at all..

Default missshift on 46re

i own a 99 dakota with a 46re trans got it as a trade cause the tranny supposdly didnt work before taen it to the mechanic i decided to remove the oil pan and the oil filter before putting it back together theres a flat plate with four screws holding it together took it apart and notice a broken spring went to the junk yard got another one and truck runs like a new one before u guys take ur truck to the shop check that out if its missshifting or not shifting at all like mine and that could be the only problem ur truck has maybe a factory recall i dont but i noticed in two trans at the junk yard with the same issue badjeeptoy@yahoo.com hit me up and i could send a pix where that place is located exactly

wonder if you can swap in a 47re? that should hold up to a 5.2 or even 5.9

let's bring it back ...will a 47 tranny bolt up to a 5.9 and would it even be worth it??

i was told that the 46re was equivalent to the 904, and the 47 was the 727, i got a 727 in my scout and that thing is bullet proof, if it would work i think it would be worth it
