Even big V8's don't sound all that great open. Sure the roar hitting your chest feels cool, but I'd rather hear a nice controlled loud exhaust, then an open retardfest.

360 isnt a big v8. Its still a small block. 390 however...well there ya go.

Could do a nice ricer flyby with a cut out like that (just sayin )
496 is where I consider big v8 to start.

Buddy has an r3 block for his Indy. Hes going 454ci & putting his 260/266(050)-680lift cam from his 408 in it and adding Indy cnc'd 214/165 heads on it, is that a little V8 too?

its not little, but its not big....cmon you know this.
power has nothing to do with cid cmon!

I suppose at that point its a matter of oppinion though.

with the exception of the 472 and the 500 basicly anything thats bigger than an standard overbore in a 460 I could consider a big block. In my book it boils down to....is it bigger than 95% of the biggest factory blocks? If yes, its big. 454 is normal sized. Small on the other hand, anything less than 350 really. I suppose in my head its >350=small 350-460=normal <460=big

now where does the 8.0 v10 fit into that? Its not small with 488 cubes, but it's based on the small block V8 but does have a big engine look to it. I like the fact it sounds odd, should make passin it off as a V6 a piece of cake lol
