i just finished rebuilding the engine in my 2000 ram 1500 5.9l v8 with a automatic tranny, I have run the engine and timed it corectly and it runs and drives in drive but when i shift into reverse or start the truck in neutral it dies almost like it was shut off. I have tested and replace the reverse neutral safty switch and no change. I have tested and replaced the throttle position sensor and still no cahnge. I am at my whits end here any and all suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

 

I also have this proplem but in a rebuilt in my 96 dodge ram I put a 94 5.9 from a van and my stalls in reverse sometimes as well
