Crappy steering
If you hit a curb that hard the caster is probably hosed. The bushings are bad or maybe the control arm(s) are bent some. And out of spec.
And btw, the rock solid ram fix bushing will do nothing for this condition. It only removes the play up and down or sideways at the bottom of the column. And get rid of the clunk if you had one to begin with.

If I was working behind my own truck, i'd pull the driver over for susp of OUI. I've had friends drive my truck and they said they feel drunk.
I figured this was just how these things steer.
I'd like to make it better though.

Well, ive came to the conclusion tonight that, since my incident hitting the curb the truck just never has been the same.
It has this awful noise in 4wd just not that loud that I have NO idea what it is... Ive had the entire axle assembally out and nothing is bad, everything is tight ect... steers like crap, ect ect
Im def. looking for a car going to try american cars one more time... Id like a jap but none in my price range that intrest me.
Ive seen the light... american cars after 100k just fall apart.
If I dident have the money I do in this truck I would sell it and never look back sorry to say...

mine steers like a dream
and you said you may have broken a track bar, couldn't have my friend, with out the track bar the axle would want to spit out from under the truck, when i replaced the one on my jeep, when i pulled it, the whole jeep jumped over about and inch or so
and fyi the jeep cherokee and dodge rams have exactly the same steering and track bar setup

The bar probably didn't break in half, but loosened at the ball joint. And btw, when these track bars are uninstalled, the truck or axle doesn't move. New bar just goes right back in.
Oh, and I had to hit a curb when some idiot woman took up the whole road making a two-laned left turn. No damage, no change, no movement. Seriously, if these trucks can't handle a little ol' curb, why put 4wd on them?
