you would think that the grille being attached to the hood would be better. Easier to get to the engine. But whatever floats your boat.

I know personally that that is one of the things I have always loved about the rams is that the grille is attahed to the hood. The mod would be kind of neat, but knowing me I would probably snap it in a heart beat by forgetting and slamming the hood closed.

mine had a big split in the side, common in these trucks, so i put a camo seat cover that matches my steeringwheel on it

That is one of my favorite things about the Ram. One thing that I would hate if I had a 4th Gen Ram is the grille being seperate from the hood.
