Default will they fit?

hello, i have a 97 dodge ram 1500 4x4 sport an it has 265/75R16 and i want to put 285/75R16. will they fit with any problems?

they will fit, but i here they will rub when wheel is locked truning

I don't know if the suspension on the 4x4's changed between '96 and 2001, but I run 285/75/16's on stock wheels, with a stock suspension, and I have no rub even at full lock.

+1 on no problems, no rubs, on stock wheels.
ps... you'll lkely feel a loss of torque at lower rpm's. i leave OD off when under 55/60 to keep the rpm's up.
