Transmission/speed sensor Question
I have a 97 Ram 3.9 V6 2WD, manual transmission. I've been told the model and year should have the NV 3500/4500. I don't know what is in there but it is not the correct transmission. There is no housing for the speed sensor and consequently my speedometer doesn't work. My question is, what other transmission could it be? Is there a modification I can do to hook my speed sensor up to something or somewhere else just to get it working again?
I really don't want to have to replace the transmission.
