Default she back

ok got the motor in today, tightend up all the loss plugs, figured out where everything goes. note to self, take more time to dis assemble next time.

but i unplugged the coil wire, cranked her a few times to get the oil to go where she needed to, had a buddy watch the valve cover gasket hole, he saw oil start to squirt, so i then plugged the coil wire in, and two cranks and she fired up.... open manifolds are loud! very load...

added some power steering fluid cause she was low, added three quarts of trick shift ATF+ 4 and i still need more...

drives fine other then the low trans oil, and the first shift cause my cable that goes to the trans is broke so i hve to re JB weld that sucker on there unless the dealer can get it for me....

but also has a bad hesitation, i can be idleing, in park, and then put it in drive, and she sometimes stalls... and then i can be driving down the road and doesnt stall when i punch it, so, i dont know whats up with that.

and i also get few bad backfires every now and then. never really did before.

i also had this one happen to me, i was just driving down the road, check gauges light came on, then a little fter that the lgihts start to get dim, the raido shuts down, and then finally she stalled, so i have a feeling i need a new altinator, idler, and belt, and maybe some fuses...

so what do yall think... the hesitation is the main thing i am tring to figure out.

low fluid will make the trans slip, not make the engine stall.
go through your alternator connections again, maybe a loose ground, more often than not a bad ground is the cause of elecrical curcuit failure

but you guys say the low transmisson fluid would case the hesitation... ok i just have to add fluid
