wont start?

Default wont start?

Parked my 98 1500 on Sat.Sunday it was dead.replaced battery and now it wont start.Acts like there is no fuel but there is a 1/4 of a tank.Any ideas would be helpful thanks...

Turn the key to "On" (don't crank it) ... you should hear a "whirrr" for a second or so from the tank area. If you don't, suspect the fuel pump or FP relay (probably FP).

nice to have to back.
we haven't had a single post with a print shot from the FSM since you left.

gosh - and do something with squirrels down there in FW, he's spending a damn fortune on his truck. thinks its a race car or something.

Thanks for the "Hey". Logged on, saw the PM and said, "Bet that's DHV".

Got forced into retirement 20 July, 2007 ... the leading edge of the **** hitting the financial fan. Been looking for work since then. Drove so little, I gassed up on my last day and didn't need more until Feb 08 ... true.

I see a lot changed around here. I'll have to re-learn how to navigate DF. I may just lurk in the shadows for a while `till I get the feel for it again.

Squirrels, eh? Race truck? Perhaps a kindred spirit.

... and yes, the sig is acurate ... still haven't installed the 180 degree thermostat. I've been running on a shoestring radiator fix for over 3 years and am kinda afraid to open the system up.

Does it crank and just not start? Or does it not crank at all?
