On two different 2001 Rams, I have had the clip that fastens the sunglasses compartment on the overhead console break off, so that the door just kinda hangs down. Tried super-gluing it back, but of course that ain't gonna fly.

My feeling is that these clips were designed poorly, and I can just keep replacing them till doomsday, and they will just keep breaking. I'm sure some of you must have had the same problem and come to the same conclusion.

Has anyone just blown off the factory clip and come up with some other method of latching that sunglass door that doesn't look too cheesy? If so, and you've got a picture, that would be really helpful. Thanks!
