So to all u dodge ram owners from 96 to 01 I noticed about 2 years ago my rocker panels under my suicide doors where Rotting out bad on both sides then about 8 months ago i had to change my 3rd brake light bulb and I noticed that the gasket put in place by dodge had either shrunk or was never big enough to make a weather proof seal so the water would get in run down the side of my rear window's and puddle in the rockers rotting them out, I had to make a custom gasket out of some make your own gasket stuff and made it water tight Hope this helps some of u guys because my one Buddie had the same prob. and if u catch it before its too late u can still fix it easily
