lights behind grill
Viper, what exactly did you use to mount those 500's behind the grille? I have a couple of 500's, and would like to put them on my truck, I just don't know what I need as far as a bracket of some sort. That, and if I see what you got, I could make something similar to it if need be.
I'm not going outside, but here is the approx specs on the brackets. They bolt right into the back side of the vertical member on either side of the radiator.

Why? Not only is bolting not permanent, it's way way cheaper, as well as adjustable.

Because I want it to be over-done. I don't want the lights to shake at all while driving down a dirt road.
Who said welding is permanent? Cut-off wheel and a grinder.
Adjustable? I can do it one time while I'm welding it.
Cheaper? My uncle has a welder. Also, it gives me an excuse to learn how to weld.

Mine don't shake at all.. The lights are mounted parallel to wide section of the steel. You'd have to have at least 1000lbs on the end of that to cause it to vibrate.
Oh look, my post count is 666.
