They can be pretty strict here too. I just make sure that when I get pulled over the first thing i do is roll both windows down. I dont care if its -3 out side i still do it. I have been told three times now that because I rolled the windows down that quick, is why i didnt get a citation for it.

 

Not as easy to do when you have manual window cranks and no passengers

 

oh that sucks. I thought about going street legal, until i saw a car with 35% on the windows. It isnt worth the time and or money for that light of tint IMO.

 

i traded an 04 colorado for my ram.. it was lifted right.. so i went and even swapped. i get the truck home.. i have it for 3 days and i get pulled over.. im like umm... officer.. what did i do wrong.. i know i wasnt speeding.. my lights all work.. truck was just inspected.. whats the problem.. he says.. your tires.. i said my tires? long story short he said im giving you a warning for your tires sticking out of your wheel wells.. im like wtf. so first thing i diid was went out and bought a full body flare.. although.. i left the front peice off bcuz i like the stance stickin a little past the fender.. although my rear tires r now flush becuase of the flare.. stupid pigs...

 

oh.. i forgot.. where i was going with that is.. being my truck is relatively new to the area and the locals need someone to pick on.. im not about to go darken my windows.. i dont need them having any more reasons to hassle me.. but yet whats really funny is this old beat chevy rolls by me and john law.. the truck was so high.. at least a 14 inch kit.. no lie.. and the tires were just massive. the cop just looks at his truck that is straight piped might i add.. and goes on lecturing me....

Both of you thats not true I have never had a problem but
I do know 2 ppl that have. Pa titn laws say you can do what ever to your rear windows but your front passenger and driver side can have nothing on them.

 

im about to have my windows tinted for 100 bucks from a guy i know at the dealership. 5% on the back windows and 35% on the front. He said that the back windows didnt have a factory tint.. its just a colored glass. is that true?

 

you rear windows if they came from the factory they are stained. If you real want to know look at it lol. And 100 not bad. I was looking at 180 for my front windows and windsheld. Get 20% 35% you might as well not event bother.

 

yeah i knew that the back window and the side back side windows i can go as dark as i want this is true.. but why just do those.. id love to do everything dark as night.. but i knew john law wont appreciate that
