Hey there, I have a 1997 Dodge 1500 5.2 with the 5spd tranny. Im wondering if anyone has any idea why my truck wont go into reverse? When i try and shift into R the truck just makes a bad grinding noise and wont engage. I remember hearing something that there might be bad plates that protect you from going into R while driving. Any idea if this sounds right? Help please...
