I have 96 ram 1500 extended cab, no back doors. Will the doors from a 2 door single cab fit?
Also I have been told that the door hinges from a 97 will work on a 96. Is this true? If so I would like to change hinges as the 96's do not have replaceable pins

 

im looking at LMC truck and they have std and ext cab doors using the same part number, so im gonna say that the doors do interchange 94-02.

They also use one part number for the hinges from 94-02, so i guess they are all the same

Although I know you were asking about the extended cab and regular cab doors (which are the same door, as helms had stated), I thought I would elaborate and mention that the front doors are NOT the same on a quad cab as they are on an extended cab. The lower corners changed slightly when they made the quad cab doors operational.

 

hmm, i didnt see anything on LMC (not that they are all powerful), but i thought they would have a seperate PN for quad cab doors and ext doors, maybe i just didnt look hard enough.
