Default Whats the deal?

Alright, my truck is a 1995 1500 auto 5.9 4x4. Incase that matters. My problem is that my heat doesnt really warm up unless i have it on the recycle air thing. and then it gets warm so i put it on fresh air and it gets cooler still warm but not hot. Engine temp is normal and all. Could it be the Header core going bad or the termostat, which wouldnt make sense if the water temp is normal. Thanks for your help guys. Ryan

Heater core is partially blocked most likely. remove the 2 hoses and back flush it. Also make sure your blend door is working properly. You should here it slam open or shut when you rapidly turn the ****.

It could be the thermostat. If its stuck open your heating will suffer.

He did say "engine temp is normal and all", so I didn't take him down the thermostat route.
